Stress can affect health-related behaviors

Stress is neither inherently good nor bad, it is simply a natural response. At times, stress can motivate students to focus, perform better, and grow stronger. However, when unmanaged, it can also lead to emotional, psychological, and physical strain. The true impact of stress depends entirely on how a student understands, responds to, and navigates it.

Developing effective stress-management skills is essential, especially during the early years when habits, behaviour, and emotional responses are still forming. Helping students recognize stress, manage pressure, build resilience, and handle challenging situations empowers them to stay balanced, confident, and mentally healthy.

How it works?

Today's students are bombarded with problems that would cause even the most well-adjusted adults to fall apart. Worrying about standardized tests, bullying, and various problems at home are among the many problems children face on a daily basis. High school students face the intense competitiveness of taking challenging courses, amassing impressive extracurriculars, and deciding important and life-changing plans for their future, all while navigating the social challenges that are inherent in the high school experience. Many students feel a sense of needing to relieve stress, but with all of the activities and responsibilities that fill a student’s schedule, it’s sometimes difficult to find the time to try new stress relievers to help dissipate that stress.

 

Sieger can help students manage stress by educating them about what stress is and by teaching them how to cope with the numerous challenges they experience through challenging outdoor activities. Our activities will certainly guide the Students on full involves being in the moment rather than dwelling on the past or worrying about the future. By actively, consciously paying attention to the present, you live life to the fullest. While doing the activities students will having fun and losing themselves in the moment.
