The challenge brief

Think. Build. Survive.

Teams enter a simulated survival scenario with a finite resource bank. They must solve a sequence of STEM challenges and decide where to spend time and materials.

Agree the mission rules and success criteria during the briefing, then let your team choose its approach.

What shapes the challenge
  • Resources are deliberately limited
  • Some challenges unlock information or resources
  • Teams must choose where to invest effort
  • The final outcome depends on cumulative decisions
Inside the experience

Your mission, step by step.

A practical progression from the first decision to the final demonstration.

01

Receive the scenario and resource budget

Review the simulated scenario and the time and material allowance.

02

Choose a challenge strategy

Choose an order of challenges that balances difficulty and potential progress.

03

Solve the first station

Use the available STEM materials to complete the first station objective.

04

Earn or preserve resources

Review the remaining resource bank before committing to another approach.

05

Complete the final survival objective

Combine the completed tasks to reach the final scenario goal.

Purpose behind the experience

Build capability through participation.

Resource management

Track the material bank as the scenario develops.

Strategic thinking

Choose a challenge sequence with a clear rationale.

Collaboration

Combine different skills across the station tasks.

Prioritisation

Decide where to invest time and resources before committing them.

Bring the learning back to work.

The challenge turns a collection of small puzzles into a strategic team system where decisions early in the experience affect later performance.

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Planning details for STEM Survival Challenge. Bring any additional requirements into your conversation with Sieger.

Is it physically demanding?

The focus is cognitive and hands-on rather than athletic. Physical movement can be added through station design.

Can the theme be changed?

Yes. Survival can become expedition, disaster response, innovation lab or mission control.

Can Sieger customise the challenge for our objective?

Yes. Difficulty, narrative, scoring, team size, duration, venue layout and the workplace behaviour being explored can all be customised.

Can this be combined with other technology experiences?

Yes. The experience can be combined with electronics, drones, robotics, STEM, software, AI and mechanical challenges to create a larger technology challenge journey.

How many people can take part in STEM Survival Challenge?

The current planning format is 20–120 participants, organised into teams of 5–6. Confirm the final group size with Sieger so equipment, facilitator coverage and team rotations can be planned.

How long should we allow for the experience?

The indicative activity duration is 90 min. Briefing, practice, team presentations and debrief requirements can affect the final agenda; agree the complete session timing during planning.

What equipment is involved?

The proposed kit includes STEM station kits, Resource tokens, Challenge cards, Measurement tools, and Score ledger. Confirm the final equipment list, participant devices and venue requirements with the programme team.

Who is this experience suited to?

The existing format is designed with leadership teams, large corporate groups, young leaders, cross-functional teams in mind. Share participants’ experience levels so the technical depth and facilitation can be matched to the group.

How are the results discussed?

The facilitator can use the agreed challenge rules, team decisions and observed results to guide the debrief. The discussion connects resource management, strategic thinking, collaboration to situations your team encounters at work.

How do we plan a STEM Survival Challenge session?

Send your preferred date, location, participant count and learning objective through the enquiry form or call +91 98400 97567. Sieger can discuss the suitable format, equipment, venue needs and proposal.
