Learning Management Course in Wilderness
Learning from experience is a powerful methodology. It is not only in the closed classrooms but also through Outdoor experience like wilderness, Camping, Educational Touring and etc.
Under Sieger Outdoor Adventure Team, students go through multiple rounds of Outdoor Training, focusing on Wilderness, adventure sports and real-life challenges, designed to test their managerial and leadership skills. Outdoor Program offers a mix of Physical and Mental Activities ranging from Military Obstacle Courses, High and Low Rope Elements, Trekking, Rock Climbing, Water Rappelling and river Crossing, Zip Line, Archery, Rifle Shooting, Management Games to yoga and pranayama and many more, in various locations of client choice.
This simulation based learning helped students to develop confidence, understanding themself and others, team spirit and building a positive attitude towards facing a crisis by out of the box thinking. Moreover staying in tents will certainly give them an ambience of a real military training camp.
All our outdoor activities focus on the mind, body and spirit to nudge students towards a better understanding of ones personal responsibilities to oneself, others and the community at large.
Outdoor training will benefits student motivating team performance by using complementary skills, increasing collaboration, innovation and productivity and developing team strategies for getting results, building trust, and giving & receiving feedback.
As the students prepare to accept greater challenges and responsibility in their life in corporate world, this Outdoor Adventure Training gives them the opportunity to reflect on the time spent in both Institute and the importance of this outdoor learning in future.
We will also continuously evaluate each student and grade them on process compliance, leadership skill, out-of-the-box thinking, quality of work, initiative, team work, timely completion of tasks and overall capabilities.
Our typical students Adventure based learning duration will be 2 - 3 days which allows the students to approach physical, social, mental and emotional challenges. Sieger outdoor training act as a behavioral change tool to develop different aspects of the students.
The range of activities include basic survival training – setting up the tent, firewood collection, Self cooking and various mountain tasks where teams strategize and perform together, which tests their leadership skills and team dynamics. The second aspect of training entails engaging the students in social work by helping villages close to the base camps by providing an innovative solution to their basic problems through the application of their classroom learning.
