Flying Fox Adventures Activity involving a test of courage and focus and it also helps build team support and group dynamic skills.
How It Works?
Flying Fox, also known as Zip Line, is the famous adventure activity for fun and thrill. You are harnessed and attached on wire rope with the help of pulley at the higher end and then slide free fall on that wire rope. This is an exhilarating and unique aerial journey. Today flying fox (zip line) have become a fun adventure activity where people just go out and enjoy. Flying Fox can actually be small or long depending on the areas. Similarly the height can vary according to the actual location and surrounding areas.
Flying foxes were occasionally used for delivering food, cigarettes or tools to people working on the other side of an obstacle such as a gully or river. At Empower its a simple ropeway built across two trees wherein the participants need to climb up to a height of 25 ft by rope ladder and come down sliding on a rope inclined at 30 degrees, with the help of a pulley.
The climb is moderately difficult. The start off is the decision point. Safety is ensured. Builds self-confidence, identifies fears & most importantly the team work support helps gather courage. This activity is totally safe for children of all ages but we insist minimum age must be 12 years. Children between 12 to 17 are harnessed with their parent/guardian and can enjoy Flying Fox.
